Terri’s story:
In mid-2019, I lost my job at age 61 due to a reorganization. I began a nearly three-year saga of applications, interviews and disappointments.
What got me through emotionally was Career Connectors. Not only did I gain valuable practical tips for job hunting, but I also received much-needed moral support. I attended nearly every Career Connectors event from Feb. 2020 until spring 2022, when I finally landed a dream job at a salary over 35% more than I was making at my prior employer.
All of the Career Connectors speakers were positive, encouraging and uplifting. Although I only met them over Zoom, they helped me endure one of the most challenging periods of my life.
