Mira Makarem
Sr. Manager, New Client Enrollment

Mira has played a pivotal role in shaping the DNA of Achieve for nearly 18 years. She began her journey on the front lines as a Debt Consultant, quickly evolving into a leader known for building what did not yet exist. From architecting the initial infrastructure and training programs for Achieve Personal Loans to pioneering the Universal Loan Agent (ULA) pilot, which unified lending products into a seamless client experience, Mira has consistently turned ambitious concepts into operational realities.

Throughout her career, she has led the creation of key functions such as the Competitive Insights department and navigated the complexities of Wholesale Operations. Her work is defined by identifying gaps and building the bridges needed to close them. Today, she has returned to ADR Sales, bringing nearly two decades of institutional knowledge to reimagine the Training Bay and equip the next generation of consultants.

John Bankston
Sr. Sales Director, Achieve Debt Relief

John joined Achieve as a frontline salesperson in late 2008. After winning President’s Club in 2009 he joined the leadership team as a Unit Manager because he believed in the mission and wanted to contribute more to the culture.

He says in 17 years he’s seen enormous changes to the business, but one sure unwavering constant is this organization’s commitment to the Core Values and balancing the Heart & Dollar.

Brian Bailey
Director of Talent Acquisition

Brian Bailey is a Talent Acquisition leader and strategic recruiting professional with more than two decades of experience building high performing teams and scalable hiring functions across financial services, technology, and operations organizations.

As Director of Talent Acquisition at Achieve, he leads enterprise recruiting strategy and recruiting execution, partnering closely with business and HR leaders to align hiring outcomes with growth, performance, and operational goals.

Over the course of his career, Brian has led both high volume and specialized recruiting, built stronger hiring manager partnerships, and implemented practical process improvements that increase efficiency and candidate quality. He is known as a caring leader who works hard for his team, alongside leadership coaching and an ability to translate talent strategy into measurable business impact.

Brian brings a grounded, operator’s perspective to modern recruiting, blending market insight, process discipline, and people centered leadership to help organizations hire smarter and scale with confidence. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer, golfing, spending time with his wife and kids, and traveling.

Henri' Dawes
Vice President of Talent Acquisition

Henri’ Dawes is the Vice President of Talent Development and Experience at Achieve, with over 30 years of leadership experience across aviation, financial services, and customer operations.

She is a bold, people-first leader known for creating inclusive learning experiences that elevate talent, strengthen leadership capability, and support meaningful growth.

Throughout her career, Henri’ has been passionate about helping leaders — especially women, minorities, and underrepresented groups — recognize their potential and step confidently into new opportunities.

Her leadership style is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and building bridges that allow others to grow.

Henri’ brings a unique perspective shaped by her own journey, having started her career working overnight shifts cleaning airplanes. That experience instilled in her a deep respect for every role and a leadership approach rooted in humility and service. Qualities that make her especially well-suited to guide today’s conversation.
