1 in 3 Americans, including over 2 million people in Arizona have some type of criminal record. Even old and minor records can prevent people from getting safe housing, good jobs, and other opportunities. Rasa is a new mission-driven legal tech company that works with individuals to help their lives forward.

About Rasa Legal

Rasa Legal is a new public benefit corporation on a mission to provide affordable record sealing, set-aside, expungement, and rights restoration services to people in Arizona. Our software analyzes court and corrections records to help people determine their eligibility for record clearance and we connect individuals who are eligible for clearance with affordable legal representation.

To kick off our services in Arizona, we are partnering with Arizona State University and American Family Insurance to sponsor a free legal record clearance clinic and community resource fair.

Registered Attendees get the opportunity to:

Meet with a volunteer lawyer or system navigator who can help them identify their eligibility for sealing, expungement, set aside, or rights restoration;
Be entered into a drawing to win free legal representation from Rasa. Thanks to a generous grant from American Family Insurance, Rasa Legal will offer free representation in our first 50 cases. Individuals will be randomly selected and must pre-register for the event to be entered into the drawing.
Get information about health, housing, and employment resources and services from over 25 community partners;
Participate in a fair chance hiring event with employers interviewing and offering jobs onsite to people with records.

Individuals Must:

Pre-register by December 1st (while walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee that walk-ins will be served at the legal clinic)
